Pool & Spa Safety Certificates Near You
The Pool Inspector is located in Nirimba and serves the Sunshine Coast region, available to help with your pool safety needs from Caboolture to Gympie and everywhere in between.
At The Pool Inspector, we are dedicated to ensuring the safety of your pool and spa. Our mission is to provide reliable Pool Safety Inspections to keep your loved ones safe and your pool or spa compliant with QBCC regulations.
If you’re selling a property with a Pool or Spa it’s in your best interest to arrange an inspection. You can get any non-compliant issues sorted out and obtain a pool safety certificate prior to the sale of your property.
If you’re buying a property with a Pool or Spa and the Seller does not have a current pool safety certificate, it’s even more important that the pool fence is inspected to make sure there are no nasty surprises waiting for you after settlement.
A Pool Safety Certificate is the form required to prove that your pool/spa fence or barrier is compliant with the latest Queensland pool safety standards. This is a requirement when properties are sold or leased. If you manage a shared pool or provide accommodation, it is mandatory to renew your pool safety certificate every year. All other pool/spa fences and barriers on properties need to be kept to the same Queensland pool safety standards.
If you are unsure if your pool/spa fence or barrier meets the required standards The Pool Inspector can still come and inspect your pool/spa fence and give you all the advice required to ensure it meets that standard.
The Pool Inspector will inspect your pool and either issue you with a Pool Safety Certificate (Form 23) or if issues exist a Non-Compliance Notice (Form 26). If your pool passes the first inspection a pool safety certification will be issued immediately.
If you have any Non-Compliant Issues a report will be written giving detail of the Issues along with photos showing the Issues and various ways of repairing, replacing, adjusting or changing the affected area to an acceptable standard. This report will be sent via email to you - The repairs then need to be done within 90 days after the initial inspection.
Here at The Pool Inspector, we can also assist with rectifying issues to ensure your pool or spa meet the requirements and ensure you are issued with a Pool Safety Certificate
The standard covers such things as the height and strength of barriers, non-climbable zones, gates and their latching requirements and preventing direct access from a building into a pool area. You must ensure the pool barriers meet the requirements under the pool safety standard at all times
Our pool safety inspections are designed to ensure that your pool is compliant with all relevant safety regulations. We provide you with a detailed report outlining any issues and providing recommendations on how to rectify them.
